Full Episodes
Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him.
O believers, invoke Allah's blessings upon him
Invoke Allah’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace.
O Allah, send blessings upon our Master Muhammad, his wives, and his descendants, as You sent blessings upon our Master Abraham.
Here in the Comoros Islands,
we deeply love the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).
Peace be upon Muhammad.
Peace and blessings be upon him.
The bond between the people of this land and the Prophet (peace be upon him)
on all occasions, they read the biography.
When welcoming a newborn,
they invite guests, gather at home, and recite the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) biography.
At wedding celebrations, they recite the biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
The revelation descended, and the revelation is trustworthy.
The chosen one Taha, the trustworthy.
We have been accustomed since childhood
to study during gathering, at school,
and to participate with all Muslims in the gatherings.
O Lord, send blessings upon Muhammad.
Therefore, when we grew older,
we studied the Prophet's biography, learned about his nature, and read about his love.
This was the reason for our love of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
Paradise and its blessings are happiness,
for those who send blessings, peace, and prayers upon him.
What deepened this love
is the spiritual upbringing rooted in these islands.
We live with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)
through every stage of our lives.
We hold immense love for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).
This love manifests outwardly, as Allah says "And honor him" he commanded us to revere him.
Reverence includes celebration,
that includes all possible perspectives.
You celebrate because he himself celebrated. He used to fast on Mondays because he was born on that day.
Every Muslim celebrates according to their traditions and locations.
In the month of his birth,
we celebrate all month long.
Starting from the first day of Rabi' Al-Awwal,
in every city and every household.
And everyone born in this month also celebrates.
This is a special honor for him, being born in the month of Rabi' Al-Awwal.
The month in which the Master of Existence, our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), was born.
As Al-Busiri said:
"I have a bond with him through being named Muhammad,
and he is the most loyal of creation to such bonds."
The people of this land are among the most devoted to the love of the Prophet (PBUH).
O Prophet, peace be upon you.
O Messenger, peace be upon you.
O Beloved, peace be upon you.
Dalil Al-Khayrāt (The Guide to Goodness) Episode 13
The essence and manifestations of loving the Prophet
Lovers strive to know our Master Muhammad (peace be upon him),
so that his love may grow in their hearts.
However, this should not lead us to believe that your personal effort
necessarily produces this love.
Rather, you must have a firm conviction that this love
is a gift and blessing from Allah, the Most High.
And that your efforts to know him, (peace and blessings be upon him)
are among the means that help nurture and strengthen this love, allowing it to shape and influence your life.
Love has eluded definition by many scholars. They sought to explain it and define its reality but could not.
Indeed, each person experiences it in their own unique way.
Each one takes from it their portion.
This person sends blessings upon him; this is a sign of love.
Other praises him, this is a sign of love. Another studies his teachings, this is a sign of love.
Another studies the Qur'an revealed to him, this is a sign of love.
Feeding the needy and those who love the Messenger of Allah is a testament to one's love for him and commitment to following his example.
Love for the Prophet is a seed planted in the heart.
It is Allah who places it in the heart.
Remember, love is not something you attain on your own.
This love is a gift from Allah.
He places it in the heart, but it starts as a seed.
If you nurture and care for this seed, it grows into a great tree.
A great tree has many branches.
Each branch produces its own blossoms, and each blossom bears fruit.
This is the result of nurturing the simple seed of love that Allah has placed in your heart.
This love is inherently present in the heart, woven into human nature.
You are born with it.
The poetess ʿĀʾisha al-Baʿūniyya once wrote in praise of the Prophet (PBUH):
I spoke what I did, but without your grace supporting me in praising you, I would have said nothing at all.
Your generosity is vast, my state is evident, and you are my intercessor for divine openings upon me.
May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him.
The divine openings come from him (PBUH),
Because praise for him (PBUH) originates from him and returns to him.
Even we, as human beings, are incapable of praising the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) as he truly deserves.
We say: O Allah, send your blessings upon our Master Muhammad.
O Allah, send the most honored blessings and salutations
upon our Master and Prophet Muhammad, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
May Allah's peace be upon him.
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, with no partner.
A testimony that the tongue expresses, reflecting what the heart holds
in belief and submission.
May Allah's peace be upon him.
Loving the Prophet (PBUH)
above all else, is a blessing from Allah, the Almighty.
So, what does a blessing mean?
When I say, "May Allah grant you success," it means that Allah blesses you with the ability to obey Him.
If Allah, the Almighty, instills within you the awareness to pray upon the Prophet,
or any blessing He has instilled in you, you will naturally respond to it and embrace it.
If Allah, the Almighty, wills happiness for you and intends to admit you into His Paradise,
He will place the remembrance of His Beloved on your tongue.
This is a blessing from Allah, the Almighty.
Therefore, a person does not invoke Salawat upon the Prophet by their own will alone.
And he does not love the Prophet by their own will.
And he does not visit the Prophet by his own will.
When a person invokes Salawat upon the Prophet,
it is a sign and proof that the Prophet loves you.
When you come to visit the Prophet and stand in his presence,
know that the Prophet (PBUH) has sent you the visa for the visit.
And has invited you to visit him, peace be upon him.
Nothing exists in this universe except that which Allah loves.
This entire universe is drawn from the light of the Messenger of Allah.
O Allah, the Giver of the most praiseworthy praise and the Creator of all things heard,
and the Restorer of hearts to their original nature, both the unhappy and the happy,
bestow Your highest blessings and the most abundant of Your blessings upon us.
And with Your compassion and mercy upon our Master Muhammad, Your servant and Messenger,
the Opener of what has been concealed, the Seal of what has passed, and the One who reveals the truth with the truth.
And the Vanquisher of the armies of falsehood.
O Allah, send blessings, peace, and mercy upon our Master Muhammad, Your servant and Prophet.
The unlettered Prophet, the Beloved, the one of high rank, and the one of great glory.
The pure, the purified, the intrinsic light, and the secret that flows through all names and attributes.
Some people might plant a seed, yet never take care of it!
Some people are heedless of the Prophet.
So their love for the Prophet became a seed buried in their hearts, and it will not grow.
But some people have nurtured it by learning about him,
through the things we've discussed earlier.
As a result, you come to love everything connected to the Prophet.
Because it has yield to the saying of the Prophet (PBUH):
Love Allah for the blessings and bounties He bestows upon you.
And love me for Allah's love.
And love my family for my love.
You see this, this is the yield of that.
So when you love Allah, you love the one who guided you to Allah.
And if you love the one who guided you to Allah, you will love the beloved ones of the one who guided you to Allah.
You will see this yields results, and that does as well.
Over time, you will see branches sprouting, multiplying until they flourish abundantly.
You will find yourself loving every Muslim.
You will love the entire nation.
The branches have greatly increased, and you will love all of creation.
You have become a manifestation of mercy to the worlds.
O Allah, grant us a provision of Your wisdom.
O Allah, grant us a provision of Your wisdom and spread upon us Your mercy.
Spread upon us Your mercy, and extend upon us Your blessings.
Extend upon us Your blessings, and remove from us Your punishment.
O Possessor of Glory and Honor.
Allah and His angels
send blessings upon the Prophet.
O you who have believed,
Invoke Salawat upon him and pray for due peace and respect.
O Allah, Lord of decayed souls and bodies
What confirms that his love (PBUH) is innate, from Allah,
is the love of the entire universe for him, Peace and blessings be upon him.
Abu Sufyan used to say, "By Allah, I have never seen anyone love someone as deeply as the Companions of Muhammad loved him."
The trees loved him.
The story of the crying trunk is authentic and confirmed.
The trunk of the tree wept for our Master, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
Some of the righteous predecessors, like Al-Hasan Al-Basri,
spoke about the story of the crying trunk.
The Prophet used to climb it, honoring it with his blessed feet.
He would deliver his sermons upon it, and when he had a pulpit made for him,
the trunk was removed and buried.
Thereupon, the trunk moaned in sorrow.
A group of the Companions described this sound in some of the narrations recorded in Sahih Muslim.
It was as if its heart was about to burst.
Al-Hasan Al-Basri commented:
This is a tree trunk, an inanimate object, yet it loved the Messenger of Allah.
It was honored because it was touched by the Messenger of Allah.
So, where do you stand in relation to him? This is what he asks.
This existence,
The entire existence is immersed in the mercy of Allah.
And this existence loves the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
The tree trunk cried because it experienced the ultimate closeness,
it dwelled in the chest of the Messenger of Allah, in his love, and within his blessed body, peace and blessings be upon him.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one for whom the tree trunk wept and longed in his absence.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one by whom the birds of the wilderness sought intercession.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one upon whom the pebbles praised with the clearest of words.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one for whom the gazelles interceded with the most eloquent speech.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one whom the gazelle spoke to in his gathering with his noble companions.
Even inanimate objects loved him. The mountain of Uhud loves us, and we love it.
The mountain Uhud,
Out of deep love, it expressed its affection, just like the stone that used to greet the Prophet.
But this mountain expressed it through shaking, through that movement.
When it trembled, the Prophet said, Be still, O Uhud.
And he described it as loving us, and we love it.
This is a rock, an inanimate object, yet it knows the Messenger of Allah.
This is a sign that the entire universe knows.
But some have been permitted to express it,
while others have not been granted permission.
Is it not our right today to weep with love, longing, and passion
for the light of the Messenger of Allah, the Beloved, peace be upon him?
For there is no true beauty after Allah, the Almighty,
except for our Master, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
Therefore, sending blessings upon the Beloved today,
In a time of widespread disease, in an era of pervasive depression,
it is impossible to reach the level of love for humanity
except with the heart of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
What deepens this love is even greater, and what strengthens it is sending blessings upon the Messenger of Allah.
Because it is the emblem of those who love.
And because it is the religion of those who love,
when a person sends blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, he is happy,
because Allah, the Almighty, loved the Prophet, and only those who love him find his mention flowing from their tongues.
O Allah, send blessings upon our Master Muhammad and upon the family of our Master Muhammad until no part of the prayer remains.
And have mercy on our Master Muhammad and the family of our Master Muhammad until no part of the mercy remains.
And bless our Master Muhammad and the family of our Master Muhammad until no part of the blessing remains.
And grant peace upon our Master Muhammad and the family of our Master Muhammad until no part of peace remains.
Because Allah loves the Prophet,
whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah, and whoever loves the Prophet, it is as if they have loved Allah.
When Allah created the worlds, what did our Master Adam see at the gate of Paradise?
Lā ilāha illā Allāh, Muḥammadun Rasūlullāh (There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah).
This means that before creation, his name (PBUH) was already mentioned.
If Allah did not love him, His name would not be mentioned alongside his.
And Allah paired the Prophet’s name with His own in the call to prayer, as the muezzin proclaims during the five daily prayers: I bear witness.
And He made part of His name for the Prophet to honor him.
The One on the Throne is Praiseworthy, and this is Muhammad.
To be able to live and feel this love,
you need to increase your Salawat upon him (PBUH).
This is what is achieved through regular recitation of a book like "Dala'il Al-Khayrat".
Glory be to Allah, this book Dala'il Al-Khayrat is specifically focused on the love of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
The one who reads Dala'il Al-Khayrat sincerely and continues to do so,
the love they possess is genuine, although it is the love of the general people, present in every Muslim's heart.
But to stir the winds of love in the heart,
something is needed to move them.
This is what Dala'il Al-Khayrat does.
The Muhammadan reality is hidden, veiled, and concealed within humanity.
But some people are veiled by humanity from the special qualities of it.
And there are those whom Allah has honored
with annihilation in the love of the Prophet (PBUH)
By reading his virtues, his biography, his characteristics, and his perfections,
they reached through this research and exploration
with the tool of sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace be upon him, to those treasures.
They extracted them and began to uncover those treasures and secrets.
Each one according to their capacity, not according to the rank of the Prophet.
When you recognize the rank of the Messenger of Allah and love for him (PBUH) becomes firmly rooted in your heart,
and it takes control of your innermost being, it governs your soul.
At that point, the grave and the count no longer matter.
Rather, your tongue should continuously, without weariness, be engaged in sending blessings upon the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)
Even among the spiritual knowers of Allah in our country, Morocco
due to the abundance of blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family,
one prays ten times, then five hundred, reaching one thousand, then two thousand as he prays.
Suddenly, the prayer vanishes, and you hear him saying, O Messenger of Allah,
O Messenger of Allah, O Messenger of Allah, O Messenger of Allah.
This is called immersion and complete devotion to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family.
This is a high degree of love and passion for our Master, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family.
O Allah, send blessings upon the Warner to the people of the earth. O Allah, send blessings upon the Intercessor on the Day of Judgment.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one who will give people to drink from the Pond. O Allah, send blessings upon the Holder of the Banner of Praise.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one who rolled up his sleeves in earnest effort.
O Allah, send blessings upon the Seal of the Prophets. O Allah, send blessings upon the Final Messenger.
O Allah, send blessings upon the Chosen Leader. O Allah, send blessings upon Your Messenger, Abu al-Qasim.
O Allah, send blessings upon the Possessor of the Verses.
When the love of our beloved master, peace be upon him and his family, becomes firmly established in your heart,
you begin to feel its effects reflected on your life.
One of the most important of these effects
is safety in both religion and worldly life, and thus, in the Hereafter.
When we were children, our grandmothers and mothers would put us to bed,
and tell us stories.
They used to say, “Speech is only sweetened by the mention of the Prophet (peace be upon him).”
Meaning, anything that comforts you, anything that brings peace to your heart,
whether you are young or old, it is connected to the mention of the Prophet.
The highest form of love is the love for the Master of existence, Muhammad.
From the one with the praiseworthy station. If we love him, this is the greatest proof
of safety, security, and tranquility.
And that we are walking on the straight path of love.
Indeed, mistakes may not affect love.
Why? Because a person is not infallible.
The Muslim, in particular, is envied by the devil, as they say.
He receives light, love, and spiritual pulls that elevate him, and the devils envy him.
Then he is pulled down, but the lights of sending blessings upon the Prophet raise him up.
He mingles with people and returns to his natural state, bringing him down once more.
But this love is security, a guarantee, and a sign of what?
This indicates that there is no persistence in the intention to commit wrong, as it will not come to pass.
The love of the Prophet (PBUH) compensates for every deficiency.
Any deficiency is compensated by his love.
And at the end of your life, you will find that your deeds are judged by their final moments.
You will be sealed with goodness, due to your sincere love for our master, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) out of honor for His presence.
Therefore, we find this reflected in the incidents that occurred with the Prophet (PBUH).
with a man named Nu'ayman ibn Amr Al-Ansari.
He used to drink alcohol.
He was flogged for drinking alcohol once, twice, and three times, until it was reported in some narrations
that he drank it 40 times, until the Companions became tired of flogging him.
One of them said, May Allah curse him, how often he is brought in.
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Do not curse him, for he loves Allah and His Messenger”.
And water flowed from it, and he established a mosque.
upon his piety
His love (PBUH) is what raises one's s ranks.
The person who loves the Prophet (PBUH).
has been promised by the Prophet (PBUH) that he will be with him.
As mentioned in a hadith narrated by Abu Dawood and al-Dailami in their collections,
from Abu Dharr hadith (May Allah be pleased with him).
He said, “O Messenger of Allah, a man loves the Muslim people but cannot do as they do”.
The Prophet (PBUH) replied, “O Abu Dharr, you are with those whom you love”.
He said, “I love Allah and His Messenger”. The Prophet replied, “You will be with whom you love”.
The Prophet repeated it.
Whoever loves the Prophet (PBUH), will be with him.
This is the greatest thing a lover can attain with their beloved.
When is the Day of Judgment?
He said, and what have you prepared for it?
He said, I did not prepare for it much prayer or fasting
But I love Allah and His Messenger.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said to him, “So you are with whom you loved”.
The companion who narrated this hadith, said,
We have never been as happy with anything, as we were with this saying.
Here, the companions say,
We have never been as happy with anything after Islam
as we were with this saying.
We have never been happy with anything.
Paradise, blessings, victory, empowerment, and all the good tidings that came.
They all say, we have never been happier with anything
more than we were with this.
We will never be separated from our master, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
O Allah, send blessings upon the Hashemite Prophet, our Master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions, and grant him peace.
O Allah, send blessings upon our Master Muhammad, the best of creation,
with blessings that pleases You, and pleases him, and through which You will be pleased with us, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
So, for those who wish to attain this status after the time of the companions,
the Prophet, (PBUh), opened the door for us.
He said, “The closest of you to me on the Day of Judgment are those who send the most blessings upon me”.
Those who frequently and wholeheartedly send blessings upon the Prophet (PBUH) will be
his companions in Paradise, in a place of truth with Al-Malik Al-Qadeer.
Whoever is worthy of accompanying the Prophet in Paradise has attained a truly lofty status.
The Prophet (PBUH) informed us that it is through love.
Because a person always either loves the Prophet for a reason.
If you love the Prophet for the sake of Paradise, you will find the Paradise, or out of fear from the Fire, you will flee from the Fire.
For enjoyment, you will enjoy, but to love him for the sake of accompanying him,
you will accompany him because of your love, not by your deeds.
Who are you to deem yourself worthy of accompanying the Prophet in Paradise?
The companions said, “We have never been happier with anything more than the words of the Prophet”.
"You will be with those whom you love."
O Allah, send blessings and peace, the most honorable blessings and peace
upon our master and prophet Muhammad, the compassionate and merciful.
Peace be upon him.
He is the one who brought us out from the darkness of ignorance into the light of guidance.
Therefore, Allah, the Exalted, said: He is the one who sends blessings upon you, and His angels, to bring you out from darkness into the light.
This is the reason for our love for our master Muhammad, that he brought us out from the darkness of ignorance into the light of guidance.
O my beloved, O Muhammad.
O bride of the two horizons.
Allah, the Almighty, says in Qur'an:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“You are the best nation brought forth for mankind. You enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and believe in Allah.” (Quran 4: 110)
Allah, the Almighty, has spoken the truth.
And as the scholars say:
We are the best nation because we are the nation of the beloved (peace be upon him).
Enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong
are among the effects and manifestations of our connection to the love of our Master, Prophet Muhammad, (PBUH).
If it weren't for his existence, peace be upon him, in our lives, there would have been no goodness for us.
This requires us to fulfill the rights of this love.
True, we are deprived of being with the beloved (PBUH),
but through the blessing of sending Salawat, we feel that we are with him in spirit, feeling his closeness.
Because he is present in his nation, present with his love for us, we feel that he is with us.
We feel the truth of the great, noble divine verse:
“And Allah would not punish them while you are among them.” (Qur’an 8: 33). He is with us in spirit,
with us through his love, and with us through his care for us.
He is with us through the greatest Du'aa, he left for his nation.
As he, pbuh, said: Every prophet has Du'aa.
And the Du'aa of the Prophet, pbuh, he concealed it for his nation.
This Du’aa was originally meant to be for his family, pbuh.
but he dedicated it to this nation.
O Allah, by the blessing of sending prayers upon him, make us among the successful ones through praying upon him.
And grant us to drink from his basin, with those who are granted to drink, and follow his Sunnah and obey him among the doers of good.
And do not place a barrier between us and him on the Day of Judgment.
And forgive us, our parents, and all Muslims.
We invoked Salawat on the Prophet (peace be upon him) more than 101 times in this episode.
