09 | Verily, you are (O Prophet) of a great moral character

Full Episodes
Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him.
O believers! Invoke Allah’s blessings upon him,
Invoke Allah’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace.
May peace and blessings be upon our Master Muhammad,
Who is described in the Holy Book of Allah as: "And indeed, you are of a great moral character.
This respect widely manifested in different aspects including respecting the other.
If there is one aspect of the Prophet's life that consistently stands out when examining his biography,
Sunnah, and the praises and characteristics attributed to him,
it is showing respect toward everything.
Out of the depth of his own respect, he respected all things.
He even took care of inanimate objects.
He would name his swords and shields,
his utensils, and even his riding animals.
His interaction with children in gatherings of elders,
his treatment of women and maidservants,
those whom we consider servants, belonging to the lowest social classes.
Yet, he treated them as if they were of the highest social standing.
A character, like no other, that respected everything.
A personality in which, whenever you read about an incident,
you are bound to find the word "respect."
From every event, you emerge with respect, regardless of the circumstances.
Let us consider his respect, peace and blessings be upon him, for everything in existence, in comparison to the treatment of slaves that prevailed in the West
and how that treatment was utterly inhumane.
O Allah, send Your blessings, peace, and mercy upon our Prophet Muhammad,
and upon the family of our Master Muhammad, the noblest of the noble
And the most honorable of those who call to the paths of Your guidance, and the light of Your lands and territories.
A prayer that never fades or ends, granting us the honor of more blessings.
Dalil Al-Khayrāt (The Guide to Goodness) Episode 9
Verily, you Are (O Prophet) of a great moral character
If we truly understand the meaning of the message, and that the Prophet, peace be upon him,
is the Messenger of Allah to all of creation,
from the beginning of creation to the Day of Judgment,
we realize that hi message, peace be upon him,
is not only for those who lived with him in his worldly life,
but for all creation.
Thus, his mercy endures, just as his message remains eternal.
Mercy is the only moral character that reflects his greatness and lofty status.
This is manifested in the multiple forms of invoking Salawat on him, as documented in the book "Dala'il Al-Khayrat (The Guide to Goodness).
The Prophet, the one who frequently turns to Allah, the Speaker of Truth, the described person,
the one who was described in the book of Allah,
The Prophet, the worshiper of Allah; the Prophet, the Treasure of Allah.
The Prophet, the Proof of Allah, those who obey the Prophet have obeyed Allah.
And those who disobey him have disobeyed Allah.
What Imam al-Jazuli mentioned is just a drop in the ocean
of the Prophet’s attributes and virtues, peace and blessings be upon him.
Because the Prophet's virtues are limitless, peace be upon him.
He is the purest worshiper of Allah.
And his attributes after that, are as Allah wills
if I am blessed with generosity, may peace and blessings be upon him
Every visitor who visits the righteous also visits the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and asks him for something
The prophet gives them what they asked for, and even more.
A gratuity from the prophet
You asked for it, and one of the righteous did so.
In the house of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, saying, "O Messenger of Allah.
I ask You for forgiveness for me and my parents, this is what I ask for
Neither your closeness, nor your family, nor visiting you compares.
This is a human unlike other humans; unique and extraordinary.
His sweat is like perfume.
Being near him brings comfort.
Mentioning his name adds joy and tranquility to the place.
If you call upon him for any worldly or otherworldly matter, he readily says, "I am here for it."
He embodies the utmost traits of manhood and valor.
Our Prophet’s generosity, peace be upon him, knows no bounds.
He shows kindness to everyone, whether or not he knows.
He is the one who said, "Whoever honors a guest whom he knows, it is as if he has honored me.
And whoever honors a guest whom he does not know, it is as if he has honored Allah."
He was the most generous, the most noble, and the bravest of people, peace and blessings be upon him.
That’s why we say, if you don’t want to challenge the nations with the Qur'an,
then let us challenge them with the truthfulness of the Prophet’s message, his religion, and with his morals.
His morals is a complete miracle in every aspect of the challenge.
The Messenger of Allah is beyond the description of describers.
Therefore, those who have specialized in praising the Messenger of Allah
and describing the Messenger of Allah,
And they specialized in composing poetry about the Messenger of Allah,
They realized that they could never fully comprehend our Master’s greatness, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
And at the top of these praisers is, the renowned Imam Muhammad ibn Sa'id Al-Busiri,
the Sanhaji Maghribi, may Allah be pleased with him and grant him His pleasure.
This great Imam,
whose poem of praise (Al-Burdah) became renowned and spread throughout the East and the West,
says in the Prophet's praise:
Renounce what the Christians claimed about their prophet,
And speak of the Messenger as you wish in praise, and be just.
Attribute to his essence whatever nobility you wish,
And attribute to his rank whatever greatness you wish.
For the virtue of the Messenger of Allah has no limits,
That could be expressed by any speaker.
Muhammad
The Master of the two realms (the heavens and the earth),
and of both groups, the Arabs and the non-Arabs.
No matter how much we attempt to describe the character of our Master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him,
we will never reach the eloquence expressed in the words of Allah:
{And indeed, you are of a great moral character}
Allah speaks only the truth.
When the polytheists claimed that the Prophet, peace be upon him, was a liar, a soothsayer, or a sorcerer,
Allah said: Nun
By the pen and what they inscribe
You are not by the favor of your God, a madman.
And indeed, for you, is a reward uninterrupted.
And indeed, you are of a great moral character.
No other created being has been described by Allah in such a way.
{And indeed, you are of a great moral character.}
A nominal sentence with no limits
Fixed beyond time.
Thus, it is absolute
The first point:
This nominal
is emphasized by "Indeed."
And syntax use only for emphasis.
The third point:
The Arabic letter "Lām
And indeed, you are of, He doesn't simply say "you have morals."
The "Lām" adds further emphasis.
The fourth point:
The word "on"
He placed the morals beneath him
While he stands above, peace and blessings be upon him.
And indeed, you are of a great moral
Then he said,
Great. These are six confirmations.
Do not forget who grants greatness. He is Allah
The great creator who is magnified, Glory be to him.
He magnifies. Does He magnify like my magnification?
I curse the small, weak slave,
the one who exists on a point in the universe
Not even a point
Meaning, a point of a point
Whenever we try to describe this great moral,
which, in truth, embodies the meanings and mysteries of the Holy Qur'an,
we find ourselves in front of a human being.
whom Allah has distinguished with what no one else in the worlds possesses,
so that he could fulfill the burdens of this great mission,
which is to be the Messenger of Allah to all worlds , peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
No one knows his true worth except the One who raised his honor—Glory be to Him.
No one truly understands the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his Companions.
He is the reality of realities, Muhammad, peace be upon him.
The utmost knowledge about him is that he is a human being,
and that he is the best of all Allah’s creation.
This is a great amount of knowledge
He is a human being.
his appearance is human.
They say the inward realm of the unseen is revealed to him, though outwardly he is human.
He eats, drinks, and sleeps.
But his sleep is not like ours.
He said, "My eyes sleep, but my heart does not."
"We, the prophets, our eyes sleep, but our hearts do not."
Lady 'Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her,
narrated: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, slept—
to the point where he snored."
Then Bilal called him for prayer.
So, he got up, and went out to pray, peace and blessings be upon him,
without performing ablution.
So, she said, "O Messenger of Allah, you slept and get out for prayer without ablution."
He replied, "O 'Aisha, we, the Prophets, our eyes sleep, but our hearts do not."
His heart is connected to the unseen realm, meaning it is attached to the command of Allah.
So, his sleep is not like ours.
He appears to be human in front of us.
His food and eating are not like ours.
His drink is not like our drink.
For the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, would continue fasting
for two days,
or three days.
So they said, "O Messenger of Allah, you continue fasting!"
He said, "I am not like you; I spend the night with Allah, and He feeds me and gives me drink."
O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad, the manifestation of the greatest divine perfections.
Meaning, the reflection of all of them.
Manifestation means reflection.
It is like the image in a mirror.
The image in the mirror reflects your shape, but it is not you.
This is why the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is the reflection of divine perfections in the universe.
He is himself,
and he is not himself.
This is why, when we understood this, it was said, "Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, pledge allegiance to Allah."
Yes, because he is the greatest manifestation of divine perfections.
When Allah, described him as being of great morals,
He, was describing the perfection of his physical and moral traits, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
Because he is the most complete reflection and manifestation of Allah's perfection, Glorified and Exalted.
He is the perfect human being, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one to whom the birds of the wilderness sought intercession.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one in whom the pebbles glorified Allah in his palm.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one to whom the gazelle pleaded with the most eloquent speech.
O Allah, send blessings upon the one who was addressed by the lizard in his gathering with his noble companions.
Allah created many creations,
and Muhammad emerged as the best among them.
The Master of creation,
the leader of leaders.
And our God granted him the honor
of leading the prophets on the night of Al-Isra.
He ascended with him to the highest heavens, to the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary,
near the Garden of shelter.
He made him an excellent role model.
He made him the measure of truth,
and the standard for acceptance.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him,
is the most complete worshiper and the best example.
When Allah, Exalted is He, describes the great creations in the universe,
He says the sky without pillars, and these mountains,
over which there are nineteen,
and over it there are stern and severe angels.
He clarifies the greatness of the creations.
But when He speaks
about our master Muhammad, we should listen
an overwhelming description,
to clarify
the grandeur, magnitude, and all these things.
But He does not do so.
He only says:
Glory be to Him who took his servant (the Prophet) on a night journey.
Because his description is beyond any description.
By Allah, as those who know him have said,
None knows him except the One who created him.
And the One who created him is Allah.
He knows that even if He describes him,
no one can fully comprehend the description of him who wants to know the rank of our master Muhammad.
Therefore, the description was generalized.
In "Dala'il al-Khayrat" (The Guide to Goodness), we find the use of superlative terms
in the prayers.
There is no one, creation, or creature
Or in the universe, nothing but Allah,
to whom "best" can be attributed in anything except our master Muhammad.
The best to hear, the best to make others hear.
The best to see, the best to be seen.
The best to speak, the best to address others.
The best to guide.
The best who read the Qur'an.
The best who teach creation.
The best husband.
The best father.
The best son.
The best in everything.
"Best" is for the Messenger of Allah.
All the attributes of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, are beloved.
Because he is the perfect human being.
And indeed, you are of a great moral character.
All the attributes of the Prophet, peace be upon him, are beloved.
As the poet said: To the axis of the world, whose virtues are so great, that if
I praised the people of the world for his favor, his virtues alone would be enough.
From strength, generosity, and goodness,
all rely on his noble qualities for sustenance.
And like the sea, from whichever side you approach it,
its waves are generosity, and its shores are kindness.
There is no one with Allah
more honorable than the Messenger, peace be upon him.
From this, we learn that the Prophet, peace be upon him,
is a complete creation.
He has no flaws.
There is no perfection in anyone else.
Allah has distributed His blessings among His servants.
Indeed, Allah has treasures, and their keys are men.
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, has all these treasures.
Everyone who gives, gives from what he has.
Our hearts are attached to that noble master.
He was a complete servant.
Even before the Prophethood, he was perfect.
A perfect human being.
After receiving the revelation, he became a divine human.
After the Isra, he elevated and became luminous.
He became light.
Our religious leaders, when they reciting the verse from Surat An-Nur:
“Allah guides to His light whom He wills.”
They interpret "His light" as referring to him, peace be upon him.
The religious leaders,
send blessings upon the Prophet while mentioning the pronoun in "His light."
The Light of Allah—who is the Light of Allah?
It is the Prophet, peace be upon him.
Because Allah made him a light through which He guides whomever He wills.
The most beloved to Allah, and the closest to Allah.
The most honorable creation in the sight of Allah, the most favored and pleasing to Allah.
The highest in rank, the greatest in status, the most complete in virtues and excellence.
The best of the Prophets in rank, the most perfect in religious law.
The noblest among the Prophets by lineage, the clearest in clarification and speech.
Some people's lack of understanding of the Prophet's perfections, peace be upon him,
may lead them to caution against such descriptions
that we mention about him, peace and blessings be upon him and his family,
claiming that this speech contains suspicion of exaggeration.
Which could lead to exalting a creation above the Creator, glorified and exalted is He.
Is this true?
Glorifying the Prophet, peace be upon him, means glorifying Allah.
Because he is Allah's gift to the worlds.
"And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds."
Is that not so?
Therefore, all glorification,
as long as we do not overstep for example, by saying he is the son of Allah or he is Allah,
as long as we do not say that,
every act of veneration draws us closer to him.
And everything that brings us closer to him brings us closer to Allah
As long as you do not believe that he is the God,
nor that he is the son of Allah, nor that he controls the universe with a will independent of Allah,
everything about the Prophet, peace be upon him, is from the bounty of Allah.
And it is what Allah has decreed.
He is, after all, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
What people should fear is disbelief entering their faith.
This is what we should address by learning the correct creed.
To understand the majesty of Allah, glorified and exalted is He,
and the rank of His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him.
This helps us accept the truth of the perfection of our Master Muhammad, peace be upon him,
without fear or doubt.
"ملة الكفر" تدخل الإسلام بطرق متعددة "The way of disbelief" enters Islam in various ways.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "the creed of disbelief is one."
We must be extremely vigilant about everything that comes to us from the outside.
Because there are many messages promoted by orientalists,
وعلماء الإسلام، والكتاب ، والصحفيون and some Islamic leaders, writers, and journalists,
بهدف جذب المسلمين إليها aimed at attracting Muslims towards them.
This ultimately leads to abandoning the pure love of Islam.
It has become evident to me that the nation is not educated enough.
Education must cover "Islam, belief, and virtue."
If we do not study Creed,
سواء كانت عبر "الماتريدية" أو "الأشعرية" whether through the "Maturidi" or "Ash'ari" schools,
فإن تفكيرنا سيتلوث بكل هذه الأفكار والأيديولوجيات our thinking will be polluted by all these ideas and ideologies

والتي تتسلل إلى أمة الإسلام and infiltrate the Islamic nation.
It is crucial to understand the essence and divine attributes,
وما هو مستحيل and what is impossible.
One must know what is part of Prophethood and what is not.
If a person does not learn the creed correctly,
سيكون من الصعب عليه التمييز بين الحقيقة والكذب الذي ينتج في بيئتنا it will be difficult for them to distinguish between truth and falsehood in our environment.
When we talk about his morals, it is astonishing.
When we speak about his mercy, they say it is astonishing.
When we speak of his love, mercy, kindness, and compassion, it is astonishing.
Everything about the Prophet, peace be upon him, is astonishing.
His sleep is astonishing.
His wakefulness is astonishing.
His joy is astonishing.
His anger is astonishing.
Why? Because
I love him entirely, entirely, entirely.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, clarified
that religion is moral.
If our Master Muhammad, peace be upon him,
is of great character,it means he is upon a great religion without any blemish.
Why? Because when was asked lady 'Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her,
she said his character was the Quran, and in another narration, he was a Quran walking on the earth.
In truth, he is the visible Quran,
the carrier and clarifier
of the written Quran, peace be upon him.

When you realize the perfection of the Prophet's attributes, peace be upon him,
and understand their truths,
your heart finds comfort in their meanings,
and you taste their sweetness.
Allah, illuminates your heart with the lights of His love ,for the Prophet, peace be upon him.
Praise be to Allah, all Muslims say they love the Prophet, peace be upon him.
But does everyone love him to the same degree?
Do these expressions of love have deeper meanings beyond mere words?
And how can we achieve that?
This is what we will try to explore in the next episode, by the will of Allah.
We invoked Salawat on the Prophet (peace be upon him) more than 47 times in this episode.
