Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him.
O believers, invoke Allah's blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace.
We used to celebrate the night of Mawlid (Prophet’s birth), and on that evening, the women in attendance
would prepare sweets and dishes for the morning.
They would also spend the night in remembrance (Dhikr) and supplication for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
One of the women would recite a summary of the Prophet’s biography.
I clearly remember one day,
as she narrated with deep emotion,
the moment of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) passing.
She began reading the account from an authentic Hadith.
She recited the words of our mother ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her),
who said: "O Messenger of Allah, you are suffering greatly," to which he replied, "Indeed, I suffer as two men would."
Then he said, "Death has its agonies."
One of the women present, who had been mentioned earlier,
said that the Angel of Death was too shy to enter and remained standing at the door.
She paused in her narration when she reached this moment.
Then one of the women, seeking to console her, said,
"Has the Angel of Death not left yet? Why does he still stand there?"
It was as if she were waiting for him to depart.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away and ascended to his exalted station.
Yet, his message endures for those who came after him (peace and blessings be upon him).
This truth is reflected in the verses of the Qur'an and the noble Sunnah.
It is also evident in the deep bond that Muslims maintain with him (peace and blessings be upon him) to this day.
Through knowing him, loving him, following him, and honoring him.
This bond is twofold: our connection to him and his connection to us.
It manifests in our visions of him, both in dreams and in wakefulness (peace and blessings be upon him).
Among his enduring miracles and the honor bestowed upon him in his grave (peace be upon him)
is that he continues to guide the world, as Allah Almighty says: "And indeed, you guide to the straight path."
His guidance encompasses all times, places, people, and circumstances.
It is narrated in some accounts that Abu Ishaq Al-Sabi’, a Minister of the Abbasid State,
was a follower of the Sabean faith—specifically the Mandaean Sabeans, adherents of Prophet Yahya, John the Baptist (peace be upon him).
One day, he had a remarkable encounter with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed him, saying:
"You are a man of wisdom. Why do you not follow me?"
Abu Ishaq Al-Sabi’ had memorized the Qur'an,
and following this encounter, he secretly embraced Islam.
This story underscores that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) continues to impact lives.
He remains the Messenger of Allah to all worlds—until the Day of Judgment, until the end of time.
Until the Last Day.
We proclaim, "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the
Messenger of Allah." Was Muhammad the Messenger of Allah? Yes,
and he remains so.
He aids one, guides another, and brings glad tidings to yet another.
He continues his mission (peace and blessings be upon him) moving through the universe.
By his noble spirit (peace be upon him) he to those in all the people.
O Messenger of Allah, extend to us your aid!
O Beloved of Allah, bestow upon us your support!
O Messenger of Allah, relieve our distress! No hardship lingers in your presence without fading away.
Dalil Al-Khayrāt (The Guide to Goodness)
Episode 23
Seeing the Prophet in Dreams and in Reality
Indeed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
remains with us in all our affairs.
His blessings continue to reach us, as affirmed in the Hadith,
which states that seeing him is a true reality (peace and blessings be upon him)
Seeing him is indeed a glad tiding for the believers.
This is why believers across the world long for it.
They yearn to see him, both in wakefulness and in dreams.
It is possible and has been experienced by many of the righteous.
Such accounts have been frequently narrated by the pious.
It may come as a reminder, an encouragement, or a blessing from Allah.
For instance, one who sees the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream while burdened with sins may receive a reminder.
At times, it is an honor, signifying his pleasure with the person and their deeds.
Our master Al-Nabhani states that the greatest honor for one who sees the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
is the promise of a good ending.
To behold the radiant face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is no small matter.
May Allah bless us with this honor.
May Allah bless us with this honor.
To see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream is a true vision.
This was mentioned in the Hadiths narrated by Abu Huraira, Abu Sa'id al-Khudri,
Ali ibn Abi Talib, and other Companions.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me."
Or: "Whoever sees me in a dream will see me while awake."
And he also said: "It is as though he has seen me while awake," or "He has indeed seen me while awake."
All these narrations are authentically reported from him (peace and blessings be upon him).
"Whoever sees me has seen the truth," meaning they have truly seen the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
They have not witnessed illusions or deceptive visions. If one sees him in any form,
that vision is true, even if it does not perfectly match
the descriptions found in books.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has been seen in dreams countless times.
The accounts of those who have seen him span from the time of the Companions to the present day.
This remains an ongoing reality to this day.
When I was around 14 years old and attending school,
I had a small book that fit in my pocket.
During school breaks, I would read Dalā’il al-Khayrāt.
That book never left my side, and I found immense goodness in it.
Blessings in everything—
in time, in companionship, in knowledge, in memorization, and in my studies.
Eventually, I made it a habit to read the book daily.
Along with reciting a set number of salutations upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Then, by the grace of Allah—and I say this in gratitude for His favor and to inspire others—
Allah Almighty honored me with seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for the first time.
Whoever remains committed to Dalā’il al-Khayrāt will undoubtedly—
and I bear witness to this and swear by it—see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), sooner or later.
From the moment one begins sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), by Allah, the joy of it is beyond comparison.
No tightness in the chest, no worries, no burdens of sin—nothing remains.
You begin your day immersed in prayers upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Starting each day with a dedicated supplication.
You feel as though the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is before you as you send blessings upon him, as if you can see him.
O Allah, gather us with him, for we have believed in him though we have not seen him.
Do not separate us from him until You grant us entry into his abode and allow us to drink from his blessed pond.
And make us among his Companions, alongside the blessed ones—the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous.
And what an excellent company they are! All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all worlds.
It was from this point that my interest in the noble biography of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began.
I spent about seven years studying the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
I read everything I could find about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
During this period, I had numerous visions of him (peace and blessings be upon him).
Each vision carried a promise, and every promise was fulfilled.
Whenever I saw him, he always appeared in the same form.
In every instance, his appearance remained unchanged.
It was exactly as described in the authentic Hadiths.
Whether in the narration of Hind ibn Abi Hālah, Umm Ma‘bad,
Anas ibn Mālik, our master ‘Ali, or others.
"He was neither very tall nor very short.
He was of medium height, and his hair was neither very curly nor completely straight.
Rather, it was wavy—neither frizzy nor entirely straight.
And there was a roundness in his face."
Seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream
is a great honor from Allah—a joyous and blessed glad tiding,
when Allah grants you the vision of His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him.
This vision—this radiant beauty and luminous presence—
when it touches a person's heart, transforms their life.
They move from the depths of sorrow to the vast expanse of beauty and splendor.
Imam Al-Busiri, may Allah be pleased with him, expressed this in his Hamziyyah:
"I long for the vision of a face that dispels all sorrow from those who behold it,
or the kiss of a hand devoted to Allah, given and taken by Him alone."
O Allah, send blessings upon the one who is mercy and healing for all creation.
In the story of Imam Al-Busiri,
when he composed the Burdah, he reached a point where his knowledge affirmed that the Prophet was a human being—yet he stopped there.
He could not continue until he saw the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)
and realized he is the best of all Allah’s creation.
Many have seen the Prophet in a wakeful state due to their abundant prayers upon him.
You must persist in sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Sending blessings upon the beloved is a source of joy.
From it, seek a fragrance of purity and a breeze of serenity.
Sending blessings upon the beloved is a means of intercession.
Yet its virtue does not extend to those who are ungrateful.
Sending blessings upon the beloved is a pathway to nearness.
Whoever neglects it is left with nothing.
Let me tell you about a remarkable incident that took place in Cairo.
I was sitting alone in the Qaitbay Mosque.
As I sat in solitude, a man approached me, speaking in a hushed tone.
He asked, “Is it possible to see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while awake?”
I replied, “Absolutely, it is possible.”
I was prepared for his questions: What is the evidence, proofs ect.
As I spoke, I noticed his expression relax and his heart open.
With every word I said, he grew more at ease and joyful.
Then he confessed, “I have seen him while awake. I was once a takfiri, filled with hostility toward this very notion.”
“But I began sending blessings upon our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), the Messenger of Allah,
twenty thousand times a day. And as a result, I started seeing him—alive, as he truly is.”
He is from Cairo and sometimes communicates with me.
And so, I began to see him.
His entire state transformed.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began guiding him, leading him away from the paths of misguidance he had once followed.
What saved him ?
Was sending abundant blessings upon our master, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
His love for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) deepened, and thus, he was granted the vision.
This is real—it happens often, more frequently than one might think.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) proclaimed during his Farewell Hajj,
"O Allah, I have conveyed the Message. O Allah, bear witness."
Then, the Holy Qur'an was revealed, affirming this with Allah’s words:
"Today I have completed for you your religion."
Thus, the religion was perfected with the Message of our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
However, understanding Islam in a manner that aligns with the changes of time
requires studying the sources of religion with the scholarly tools established by the learned scholars.
Throughout the history of the Islamic nation,
among the methods approved by scholars,
is the vision of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
As long as we affirm that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the distributor of the treasures of divine knowledge,
and that he (peace and blessings be upon him) is alive and aware of our deeds, as indicated by the Qur’an and the Sunnah,
some of the saints have stated that it is permissible to receive knowledge directly from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
This is explicitly mentioned by Imam Jalal Al-Din al-Suyuti (may Allah be pleased with him)
in his book Al-Hawi lil-Fatawa,
where he said, "I saw the Prophet (PBUH) while awake
more than seventy times, and I verified certain Hadiths with him."
Some have denied this possibility because they have not experienced this spiritual station.
Imam Al-Suyuti, the great scholar of Hadith and Islamic sciences,
who authored over a thousand works—some of which have reached us—
was once asked to intercede with the Sultan on behalf of others.
It was said to him, "Your words, O Sheikh Al-Suyuti, are honored by the rulers."
He replied, "By Allah, nothing prevents me from doing so except that it would take away from my time seeing the Prophet (PBUH)."
"And I need him for the benefit of the Muslims, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) guides me."
"He teaches me how to authenticate Hadiths, how to assess their strength or weakness, what to follow, and what to avoid."
There were others who wrote on this subject, and Al-Suyuti himself authored a book titled
Tanweer Al-Halak on seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the angels.
Whoever purifies their heart and cleanses it from desires, temptations, and worldly distractions
will see the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
However, many people
Have begun to follow whims, circulate baseless claims, and engage in misguided remembrances regarding the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
He (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away and ascended to the Highest Companion, and he now rests in his grave.
Yet, if we immerse ourselves in remembrance and realize that he is with us, returning our greetings,
and that he is present and aware of us, we transition from a state of absence to a state of presence.
Thus, we can receive from him directly, just as the saints and the righteous did.
The scholars have unanimously agreed that seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
does not introduce anything new to the religion nor alter the Shari'ah that he (peace and blessings be upon him) conveyed.
Rather, it aids in deepening one's understanding of meanings and wisdom,
and clarifies matters in which scholars have differed, helping to grasp the correct understanding of the religion."
Our master, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Dardir, due to his deep attachment to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him),
would see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) every night.
Because of this, he was known as "Abu Al-Barakat" (The Father of Blessings).
For this reason,
he would resolve disputes among scholars at Al-Azhar regarding the authenticity of certain Hadiths.
on the messenger of Allah
on the authenticity of a particular Hadith, he would clarify, saying:
"I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say it in this manner, and he added such and such in another place."
He would record these insights upon waking and then present them at Al-Azhar, saying,
"This Hadith's authenticity is such and such." Scholars assumed he had spent the night studying,
reviewing hadith collections and chains of transmission. However, one day, the secret was revealed.
Because they disagreed with him, they said, "No, no, no, Sheikh Muhammad, you didn’t study well tonight."
He replied, "Am I studying? I receive Hadiths directly from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)!"
The story is long, but it highlights a profound truth: whoever is deeply attached to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him),
Allah bestows honor upon them.
Among these blessings is the honor of seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
And Allah blesses them with Brakah in their time, wherever they may be, because of their devotion to His beloved (PBUH).
O Allah, send blessings upon him, through whom blessings descend upon the righteous.
O Allah, send blessings upon him, through whom both the elderly and the young receive mercy.
O Allah, send blessings upon him, through whom we attain happiness in this life and the Hereafter.
O Allah, send blessings upon him, through whom we receive the mercy of the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
If one is sincere with Allah Almighty,
and regularly engages in supplication and recitation—especially Dala'il al-Khayrat—
a deep connection forms between them and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
I have met saints who were blessed to gather with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Among them was our master, Sheikh Ahmed al-Habbal, the Sheikh of Levant.
He was the Sheikh of the saints and the leader of gatherings for sending blessings upon the Prophet (PBUH).
He attained closeness to Allah and was so beloved by the Prophet (PBUH) that even great scholars kissed his hand.
He reached Allah through his profound love for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
His devotion to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was ingrained in his very blood and flesh.
He always held prayer beads and never ceased sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
He was the one who established the gathering for sending blessings upon the Prophet (PBUH) in the Levant. His Sheikh, Sheikh Ali Osman,
authorized him and named him his successor.
Afterward, Sheikh Ahmed continued this practice, holding daily gatherings for sending blessings upon the Prophet (PBUH).
The total count would reach one hundred thousand times.
Each participant would recite a thousand times, and together they would compile the recitations
and dedicate them as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
That is why a vision in a dream does not occur randomly. I have met some of the great Shaikhs of the Levant,
one would describe them as great saints.
How can you recognize them? When they see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), they immediately go to their wife
and say, "Today, we must offer a sacrifice."
This is how you know they saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that night.
They do not boast, saying, "I saw the Prophet and did such and such." Instead, they keep it hidden out of humility, preserving it between themselves and Allah.
It means they saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that day and wish to express their gratitude to Allah.
So they sacrifice an animal and distribute the meat to the poor as a token of thanks to Allah.
It is inconceivable that all these people—tens of thousands—could be lying.
Refer to Tabaqat Al-Khawas, which details the lives of people known for their truthfulness and sincerity.
There was even a book from Yemen at one point,
in which people claimed, "Their messenger is lying."
Now look at Al-Tabaqat Al-Kubra by Imam Al-Sha’rani,
which contains accounts of millions affirming and acknowledging
that these stories of the righteous are indeed true.
How could they all be fabricating? How could a scholar lie?
How could an inheritor of knowledge lie?
And what scholar would knowingly condemn themselves to Hell by falsely claiming, "Yes, I saw the Messenger"?
Yet they all testify, "We saw the Messenger"—some in dreams, others in different ways.
We ask Allah to bless us with the honor of seeing the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) both in dreams and in wakefulness.
This phenomenon exists within the Ummah, but when it was neglected,
What happened? A sense of coldness set in, and Islam lost its essence—its taste, color, and fragrance.
It became merely an outward appearance. Each of you, as well as your fathers, can recall this change.
I witnessed it myself over 30, perhaps nearly 40, years ago.
In a small town like ours, those with beards could be counted on one hand.
They were few, but they radiated light.
They were illuminated, beloved by the people, and devoted to remembrance.
They were people who frequently sent blessings upon our Master, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Then the page turned, and beards became widespread,
but in a dry, hollow manner—without the presence of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
If you seek happiness in both worlds, then increase your sending of blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Peace be upon him.
And when you pray, seek its reward, and let your intercession be through blessings upon Muhammad (PBUH).
Peace be upon him.
If you desire certain acceptance of your supplications, then seal them with blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Peace be upon him.
No fasting is truly complete, nor any prayer,
for those who neglect sending blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
And whatever you do will be blessed with goodness if you include blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Rise in the night, call upon Allah, and seek your Lord’s favor through blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
O my Lord, send blessings and peace always and forever,
upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his entire household.
When we speak about the righteous being granted the vision of our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family),
this does not mean that committing to certain actions guarantees seeing him (peace and blessings be upon him).
Rather, these are steps that may help, but in the end, such a vision is a gift from Allah.
He bestows it according to His wisdom, which none knows except Him, exalted is He.
These visions are a divine gift, not something earned.
One cannot simply follow specific steps to see this or that in a dream.
It is a provision from Allah, a form of sustenance.
Just as sustenance and death are beyond human control, so too is this matter.
What is required of you in wakefulness is to remain upright,
to keep the company of the righteous, to love the Prophet (PBUH),
to embody good character, and to be mindful of consuming only what is halal.
Fulfill your obligations, avoid the unlawful, and if you fall into sin, hasten to repent.
This is all that is required of you.
Then Allah will provide for you.
He may grant you the vision—or He may not.
I do not worship Allah on the condition of seeing a vision.
Yet, some worship Allah with such conditions.
They say, "If I do not receive visions or good news, I will stop praying." This is not acceptable.
Some people believe that the Prophet, peace be upon him, is displeased with them, which is why they do not see him in a vision.
They assume they must have committed some wrongdoing, preventing the Prophet from appearing to them.
These assumptions are baseless and only reflect common misconceptions.
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, does not deal with people in this manner.
His interactions are based on divine wisdom and mercy.
In fact, the Prophet, peace be upon him, has even appeared to disbelievers, guiding them from misguidance to faith.
This has occurred in numerous instances.
I recall a friend whose brother did not pray despite being part of a Sufi order.
Meanwhile, my friend was steadfast in worship, always present in the mosque.
He was devoted to remembrance and obedience and longed to see the Prophet in a vision.
One night, both brothers slept beside each other.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, appeared in a vision—
but to the brother who did not pray.
My friend was astonished, saying, “The Prophet appeared to my brother, who doesn’t even pray—
while I, who dedicate my life to worship, did not see him!”
The Prophet, peace be upon him, appears in visions—
not necessarily to those most pious, but often to those in need of spiritual support.
He walks with the weak and uplifts them.
As for the strong in faith, the Prophet, peace be upon him, trusts in their steadfastness.
Thus, we must entrust the matter to Allah.
He grants such blessings in His divine wisdom.
I remember an incident from my childhood—
when I was in the second grade, I saw the Prophet in a vision.
At that time, I used to rush through my prayers, performing them hastily.
Like any young child, I would finish my prayer quickly, panting as if I had been running.
Then, one night, I saw the Prophet, peace be upon him, in a vision while I was praying.
He came, sat beside me, and gently patted me on the back.
He said, “O Yousri, you are good, but pray calmly.”
SubhanAllah, from that moment onward, I began praying with tranquility—to the extent that people would tell me I was taking too long.
I have learned on this path that one who keeps looking back will never reach the destination.
We should not be distracted by circumstances, pleasures,
miracles, supernatural occurrences, or even acts of worship themselves.
Instead, we must keep moving forward and fulfill our duty to Allah, the Almighty.
A vision does not replace righteous deeds or adherence to the Shariah.
Yet, it is a natural longing for every lover of the Prophet.
It is a natural feeling for every lover.
When someone has a deep connection with our master, the Prophet,
they yearn for him and prepare themselves, for the soul is an independent creation.
It has a right upon the Messenger of Allah, and one must fulfill that right.
The spirit has its due share, and through these connections,
one may still long to see the Prophet in a vision, even after visiting his resting place.
This is a right related to sight—
the eyes desire to be filled with the noble presence of the Prophet.
They long to gaze upon his blessed appearance.
Thus, one yearns to see the Prophet, (peace be upon him), in a dream.
And hopes to witness his luminous presence.
For indeed, the Prophet, peace be upon him—
the eyes long to behold him.
This is proof that the body itself longs for the Messenger of Allah,
for sight is part of the body.
The eyes yearn to touch something the Prophet touched,
to hold even a strand of his blessed hair.
Therefore,
when you see a lover longing to witness the Prophet in a dream,
know that he also desires to see him while awake.
He wishes to visit him in his noble resting place, in his honored chamber.
His soul is attached to him—
for every creation has a share in the Messenger of Allah.
And the longing of my soul seeks its share by drawing near.
The yearning of my spirit is forever connected to his beauty.
The longing of my eyes desires to see him in a vision.
For if one sees him in a dream, the beloved promises that he will see him in wakefulness.
And this wakeful vision is a glad tiding—
that he is among those who will receive the Prophet’s intercession, among those who will drink from the blessed Pond.
O Allah, grant us the vision of him, in dreams and in wakefulness,
And with everything You have created in us that has a share in the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
There is no doubt that visiting him in his noble resting place is of immense virtue, a deeply cherished and beloved act.
This is a poem by Muhammad ibn al-Habib, in which he says:
We are in the garden of the Messenger, present, seeking his pleasure and divine acceptance.
We have come to you, O best of those to whom all take refuge, in humility, submission, and awe.
So intercede for us before Allah, that we may attain our wishes when the moment arrives.
Your rank is beyond comparison, and your message surpasses that of all other messengers.
You are the gateway to divine mercy, and whoever draws near to you attains Allah’s pleasure and nearness.
Every secret bestowed upon the Prophets emanates from your noble household, upheld by your blessed narrations.
I beseech You, O my Lord, through the accepted Prophet, to grant me success in all my affairs.
Whoever has stood in reverence at his noble sanctuary has attained the loftiest desires and ultimate fulfillment.
We praise Allah at all times, for He has granted us the honor of visiting the Messenger.
And likewise, we send prayers upon those in Baqi', from among his companions and the descendants of the pure Virgin.
And upon every spouse, daughter, and son of the one who will intercede for humanity on the Day of Judgment.
And upon the martyrs of Uhud, including the noble uncle of the Messenger.
We ask for complete safety in our journey back home and a blessed return.
And we seek salvation on the Day of Resurrection and protection from every harsh and ignorant one.
This is what the esteemed Sheikh Muhammad ibn al-Habib has expressed.
The Messenger, peace be upon him, is never absent from the hearts of his lovers.
Even if he were in the farthest lands, his presence remains with them.
He is among the greatest of saints and the most enlightened of knowers. We praise Allah at all times,
for He has blessed us with the honor of sending prayers upon the Messenger.
This is the answer.
The longing for our beloved master, peace be upon him,
manifests in the actions of those who love him.
When they come to know him and honor him with reverence,
by following his Sunnah, increasing their remembrance of him, praising him, and invoking blessings upon him.
They pray to Allah for the blessing of beholding him, both in this world and the Hereafter.
And they are overtaken by longing to visit his noble resting place,
where his pure body rests in his radiant city—may peace and blessings be upon him.
And the discussion on the significance of visiting him will be the subject of our next episode, the will of Allah.
We invoked Salawat on the Prophet (peace be upon him) more than 301 times in this episode.
